"Grand Oak" Pastel on Paper took First Place in the San Marcos Art Leaque's National Art Exhibition juried by San Antonio's McNay Museum of Art's director/curator at the time in 1984. The work also won the Aquarena Springs Purchase Award. As Aquarena Springs was acquired by then Southwest Texas State University as a protected, aquifer research property, the work is believed to be in the collection of Texas State University. This limited edition of no more than 50 prints worldwide prints on heavyweight acid free watercolor paper at 30x40". Each print is signed and numbered on the print by the artist and comes with an official signed and sealed Certificate of Authenticity.

"Grand Oak" Pastel on Paper took First Place in the San Marcos Art Leaque's National Art Exhibition juried by San Antonio's McNay Museum of Art's director/curator at the time in 1984. The work also won the Aquarena Springs Purchase Award. As Aquarena Springs was acquired by then Southwest Texas State University as a protected, aquifer research property, the work is believed to be in the collection of Texas State University. This limited edition of no more than 50 prints worldwide prints on heavyweight acid free watercolor paper at 30x40" the same size as the original painting possible only because Dan took 35 or 65x65mm transparencies of the work back in the early 1980s. Each print is signed and numbered on the print by the artist and comes with an official signed and sealed Certificate of Authenticity. Each print is printed with a 2" white margin around the image area for framing options which include the possibility of gallery wrap contemporary display without frame. Work will ship rolled in a shipping tube.

This print is available because Dan had the foresight to photograph everything he did. This print is from his photographs of the work prior to it's sale in the mid 1980s. The original work was done on a 30x40 matte board.
